  1. This is the message I receive when I try to access your review of the Oly 75mm…

Hi there. You seem to be lost.
It looks like nothing was found at this location. Perhaps it was there but now it’s gone. Maybe try one of the links below or a search?

  2. Hi Peter,
Great blog. I recently purchased an OMD kit (12-55mm lens). I am mainly a Leica M7 and digital Nikon and Canon camera user and I have may prime lens (Canon FD) that I want to use. I appreciate if you can recommend a good quality lens adapter for the above.

    1. I have bought the $20 variety, and they have worked OK.. They will have a Breech-lock ring as the lens does, so it will lock in place with the lens as one unit. There are ones for around $80.00, the main difference is the material used. So, on heaver lenses, the more expensive ones will handle the weight better. For lenses 200mm and under the cheap ones are fine. (except the f/2 fast shorter tele’s).

  3. Hi there,
I’m rubbing my eyes, thinking this is a real photo gem – where do you get these adaptors – what ‘keywords’ can I Google to get results?

  4. I had the Super Control Panel at one time and I lost it. How do I get it back? Neither the dumbed down manual that comes with the camera or the more extensive Acrobat one on the website seems to give a clue.

  5. I seem to have lost my Super Control Panel and neither the dumbed down manual that shipped with the OM-D nor the Acrobat version on the website seems to tell me how to retrieve it. How do I get it back?

    1. Did you push the button in on the right side of the VF?
That will call it up. You can also setup the OK button to bring it up.
Check under the “E-M5 Resources” / “Tips and Tricks” tab.

  6. Great site with plenty useful information!

Is it possible to use touch to focus feature while filming on the OM-D? I can’t find any info about this anywhere and I know the E-PL5 does it so I was hopping to also use this feature on my OM-D..

  7. Please help me with omd em5 exposure compensation. My problems is – In A mode, the exposure compensation in my Olympus OMD EM5 camera is set at -3 and I can’t figure out how to change it.

    1. You need to go to the Menu/Gears, and the lettered sub-menu that has the Dial and Button function settings. There, you can assign a wheel to change the EC settings… I prefer the back wheel.

      1. Thank you so much, Arbib. It now works well.

In addition, I would like to ask you for another suggestion about how to set up (M mode) in order to make black and white photo. [please note that I am very new in photography world. OMD EM 5 is my first camera with M mode.] Your answer in detail will help me to understand better. Thank you again in advance.
